- Abstract:
- Objective To study the effect of Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction combined with early enteral nutrition on gastrointestinal and immune function in aged patients with gastric cancer after operation. Method 78 cases of aged pa- tients with gastric cancer in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the objects,and were divided into control group and observation group with 39 in each through prospective nonrandomized study. Patients in control group were treated with Buzhong Yiqi pill combined with early enteral nutrition after operation. Patients in observation group were given modified Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction combined with early enteral nutrition. Post- operative recovery and immune function were compared between the two groups. Result the postoperative discharge,hos- pitalization time,TCM syndrome evaluation and IL - 6 of the patients in observation group were obviously lower than those in the control group,but TP Alb PA Ig G Ig M Ig A IL - 2 were significantly higher,the difference was statistically sig- nificant( P < 0. 01) . Conclusion The treatment of aged patients with gastric cancer by Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction com- bined with early enteral nutrition can promote the recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal tract,improve the nutritional level and the immune function of the patients.
