Abstract:: Professor CUI Xiangning has rich experience in the treatment of perimenopausal insomnia，and is good at syndrome differentiation and treatment of insomnia in perimenopause from three aspects: heart，liver and kidney. He thinks that insomnia is located in the kidney and closely related to heart and liver. Kidney deficiency and liver depression are the basic pathogenesis of insomnia during perimenopause. It can nourish kidney Yin and relieve fire and calm the mind; Warming up kidney Yang，and tranquilizing the mind;To nourish blood and calm the mind，to clear the heat and remove the trouble; Nourishing liver and kidney，and relieving liver and latent Yang; Nourishing kidney Yin，clearing liver and reducing fire;Nourishing Yin and reducing fire，regulating heart and kidney are the main treatment methods. At the same time，psychological counseling should be applied to achieve the purpose of mind and spirit harmony，for better clinical effects.
