- Obesityisahighriskfactorofcardiovasculardisease,type2diabetesandotherdiseases,whichhasaseriousharmtohumanhealth.Atpresent,thetreatmentofWesternmedicineismainlybasedonlifestyleintervention,whilethereisnoindividualizedtreatmentfortheetiology.Inrecentyears,moreandmoreattentionhasbeenpaidtotraditionalChinesemedicine(TCM)foritsrichtheoryandremarkablecurativeeffectinthetreatmentofobesity.FromtheperspectiveoftraditionalChinesemedicine,thispaperreviewstheresearchandprogressintheetiology,pathogenesisandtreatmentofobesity,inordertoprovideatheoreticalbasisforthefurtherdevelopmentoftraditionalChinesemedicine treatmentofobesity
