- Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Fangji Huangqi decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis，and to explore the efficacy and mechanism of acupuncture combined with medicine in the intervention of acute gouty arthritis，so as to provide theoretical basis and clinical evidence for clinical application.Methods 60 patients who met the inclusion criteria from December 2019 to October 2020 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Both groups were given health education and life intervention，and Votalin was applied to the affected area.Control group: given colchicine tablets；The treatment group was given modified Fangji Huangqi decoction combined with acupuncture.Results The curative effect of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The blood UA，CRP and ESR of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment.The treatment of the two groups was effective.Compared with that before treatment，the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).After treatment，the blood UA，CRP and ESR of the treatment group decreased significantly compared with that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with medicine in the treatment of damp heat accumulation syndrome of acute gouty arthritis can significantly improve clinical symptoms，reduce the levels of blood UA，CRP and ESA，and reduce the score of TCM symptoms.The curative effect is better than that of Western medicine control group.
