- Abstract：The birth of systems biology such as metabolomics has built a “bridge” between traditional medicine and modern medicine. Metabolomics technology has now been widely applied in patients with heart failure. A large number of studies have found that the development of heart failure patients is often accompanied by changes in a large number of metabolic substances. The article summarizes the changes in metabolic substances in heart failure, the different metabolomics characteristics of various traditional Chinese medicine syndrome types, and the related research on improving metabolic substances in heart failure by traditional Chinese medicine. It explores the value of metabolomics in the diagnosis of heart failure, identification of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome types, and evaluation of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in preventing and treating heart failure.
