- Abstract:
- Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Tianmeng oral liquid combined with acupoint application in the treatment of cancer related insomnia (CRI) after chemotherapy for breast cancer.Methods 60 patients with CRI after chemotherapy for breast cancer were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group with 30 patients in each group.To evaluate the clinical efficacy，Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) score and Epworth sleep scale (ESS) score of the two groups before and after treatment，and observe the adverse reactions of the two groups of patients. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group（P＜0.05）；Compared with the PSQI score，the sleep efficiency and daytime dysfunction score in the observation group decreased significantly (P<0.05)；There was a significant difference between the observation group and the control group（P＜0.05）；The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Tianmeng oral liquid and acupoint application can significantly improve the sleep quality of CRI patients after chemotherapy for breast cancer，shorten the time to sleep，prolong the time to sleep，improve sleep disorders，especially improve the sleep efficiency of patients，improve daytime dysfunction and drowsiness，and have high safety and no obvious adverse reactions，which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
